Visas and consular services

Consular fees

The consular fees in Romania are settled by Law No.198/2008, as amended, in EUR, as fixed values.

For countries with other currency, the fees are calculated each month on an average basis of the currency exchange rate against EUR.

In Indonesia, the currency is U.S. Dollar (USD), so the fees are (re)calculated each month, based on the EUR/USD exchange rate.

The EUR/USD exchange rate for each month is shown at the Consular Section of the Embassy.

Attention: Not all the possible situations are covered in the Table of fees, each situation being assessed individually. Depending on specific requirements for some complex services (like citizenship matters, registering of a change in civil status or name, etc.) the fees can be different from the one presented. For such cases, ask for assistance from a consular agent, mainly by Email.

Payment of the Consular Services is by cash at the Embassy. Payment by personal cheques or by credit or debit cards are not possible.
